Arriving at Bari Airport

Another alternative is to take the train, though this first requires a 10-minute walk to the train station. From the terminal, you’ll see a series of signposts taking you through a tunnel that links Bari Airport Arrivals to the platform. The FM2 train line departs approximately every 20 to 30 minutes and takes about 17 minutes to reach Bari Centrale train station.

There are also several bus lines that operate from the bus stop outside the terminal building. Line 16 with AMTAB is the cheapest bus travelling to Bari city centre, and it departs roughly every 50 minutes, taking between 40 and 60 minutes to reach the centre. The Tempesta and Terravision shuttle services are quicker options, with both getting to the city centre in approximately 30 minutes. Waiting times tend to be longer for these shuttles, with some services being over an hour apart.
